This guide walks you through the experience without the video. Do it solo or with a group. Take your time and enjoy discovering how place shapes each honey. Every jar comes from a different part of New Zealand. We recommend setting aside about an hour for this experience.

Bring your family and friends together by

Get Set

Open your kit (but don’t peek under the lid — save that for later).
Hand out spoons, tasting cards, and pens — any spoons will do.
Place the five jars in the centre.
Don’t peel the black labels yet — no spoilers!

Taste & Create

Each jar’s colored teardrop matches your tasting card.
Start anywhere — everyone can begin with a different color and pass the jars around.
Taste a small spoonful, note flavor, texture, aroma — anything you feel.
Encourage your group to get creative and descriptive — poetic, funny, bold… there’s no wrong answer for tasting notes.

The Reveal

When you’ve tried them all, the host peels back the black labels to uncover the real names.
Match each jar to its place inside the lid to learn more.
Scan the QR code to see where it came from, meet the beekeeper, and view the purity and potency test results — our favourite part!
