Five honeys. No two taste the same.
Honey tastes like the place it comes from. A different flower, a different forest, a different season, and you get a completely different honey. These five come from five parts of New Zealand, and you'll taste it straight away.
Mānuka 200+
Soft, buttery and lightly sweet. The easy one to start on, and the one kids go back for.
Mānuka 850+
Our most popular honey. Rich caramel, thick and creamy. This is the jar that empties first.
Mānuka 1200+
Dark and bold with a long finish. Our strongest flavor.
Pōhutukawa
Pale and delicate. From the trees that flower bright red along the coast of Great Barrier Island every Christmas.
Rewarewa
Dark amber and malty, a little like treacle. From the Coromandel, where the bees work the New Zealand honeysuckle.
The most fun you'll have at the table this holiday
Every experience is unique—that's the fun part. One person gets caramel, the next gets smoke. Five honeys, hidden labels, and an hour of guessing, laughing, and arguing over the winner.
When everyone has tried all five, peel the wraps off. Underneath is each honey's name, where it came from, and a QR code. Scan it to meet the beekeeper who harvested that jar and see the test results for the batch.
Finally, something to do at the table that isn't drinking or eating more filling food.
How This Started
A few years ago, at Friendsgiving, my wife Freya and I put five of our favorite honeys on the table and asked everyone to guess what they were.
It got competitive fast. People were writing tasting notes like sommeliers. I gave out prizes for the best guesses and the funniest ones, and by the end of the night I'd turned a room full of dinner guests into honey fanatics.
I've done it every year since. I even ran it at my parents' anniversary.
I love it because it shows what we actually do. It isn't the number on the label, it's that five jars from five parts of New Zealand taste nothing alike, and discovering that together is a really good time.
So we put it in a box. Open it with people you love, or do it alone and have our team mark your card.

2,500 boxes. That's all we made. When they're gone, they're gone until next year.
